In this Motherhood series, I am sharing the monthly schedules that I used for my youngest son when he was a baby 🙂 My boys are 20 months apart and I was in the #2under2 club – following a general schedule (with flexibility as needed) helped me and my family so much. Since I loved seeing other mama’s schedules when my babies were little, I am sharing mine here on my blog with you. Enjoy!

Baby Schedules: Month 6
Not a ton of changes with schedule this month, though the 2nd nap is getting closer to 12:30pm – A takes his around noon and C right afterwards. Also, the third nap mostly happens but he is starting to refuse it occasionally. We started solids and so far he loves everything 🙂 He started sleeping on his tummy and is starting to be able to replace pacifier himself.
Right when he turned 5 months old he got sick for the first time 😦 I felt awful for him. Afterwards, we got back on track and he was feeling good, back to his normal self, and sleeping well again, but the last 2 weeks before he turned 6 months old he started to have night wakings where he doesn’t cry, but sort of whines and practices trying to crawl instead. I check on him to make sure he isn’t sick/hurt/wet/etc. and then sort of leave him to it. He puts himself back to sleep, though I feel these “happy wakings” might be a result of too much napping during the day? He has typically loved a good nap, and has no problem sleeping 2.5 hours at a time, so as he begins refusing the 3rd nap and moving to just 2 naps, I might try to limit his naps to total closer to 3 hours for the day.
